The Livepeer team says the community is looking to bring Sora's capabilities to the blockchain protocol in the coming months. LPT rose 80% to $14.80, trading volume increased 3,300% in 24 hours.
OpenAI announced Sora, a text-to-video AI model on Thursday, heralding a new era in the generative AI space. According to OpenAI, Sora can create highly detailed AI videos featuring complex camera movements, multiple scenes and characters.
The announcement saw a rally in the price of Livepeer (LPT) and other AI-related cryptocurrencies. On Friday, the Livepeer team revealed that the community is looking to bring video AI capabilities to the platform.

Livepeer, an open live video streaming protocol, said the initiative is part of its goal of making video creation affordable for developers and creators. Livepeer's team hopes these AI capabilities will continue on the decentralized video platform in the coming months.

Livepair's native token LPT surged more than 80% on Friday, reaching a high of $14.87 on major crypto exchanges. According to data from CoinGecko, the coin's trading volume has increased by an impressive 3,300% in 24 hours, trading over $495 million.
The surge in market activity saw SingularityNET (AGIX) rise as Ai Token hit $0.42. A more than 25% increase in the price of SingularityNET helped with a 520% daily trading volume. The artificial intelligence market cap rose more than 8% to $13.5%.
