AI Agent Tokens Skyrocket as Franklin Templeton highlights ‘Great Promise’

Artificial intelligence cryptocurrencies are still making huge gains – just as asset manager Franklin Templeton highlights how AI and crypto can go together.

Franklin Templeton said in a note on Tuesday that it is “extremely interesting” how AI agents will interact on blockchains. And he observed the current clamor around him. AI16z and the virtual protocol– Two tokens among the top 100 coins by market capitalization that have made some big gains in the last 24 hours.

AI agent software programs are designed to assist humans in completing tasks on their own. As the buzz around AI grows, many in the field are making big promises about how well such agents can help complete human tasks. And some of these agents have their own tokens, adding potential leverage and speculation into the equation.

Franklin Templeton added that while AI agents have a ways to go to become as refined and useful as vision, the field has great promise.

Although these agents are not yet fully autonomous and underserved in their current state, this emerging field holds great promise and is worth watching closely as it evolves and matures, the note said.
