ai16z mulls tokenomics shakeup, launch L1
Agentic artificial intelligence platform ai16z is working on its own layer-1 (L1) blockchain network as part of the broader Tokenomics upgrade.
According to a post on its management forum, the project is considering creating a platform similar to Pump.fun to launch AI agents. It's under consideration.”[p]Announcing ai16z as L1 blockchain for AI,” the post says.
The ai16z contributors describe the AI Agent launchpad as “the first way to implement Flywheel Tokenomics, which will drive the price to $ai16z, the project's native token.”
“Suggested mechanics are taking % of initiation fees, requiring $ai16z holdings to allocate, using $ai16z for initial agent supplies; [and] According to the blog post combining agent tokens with $ai16z in liquid pools.
Meanwhile, he wrote, the proposed L1 will be an “open-source node booster” with the AI16Z token as the “base currency.”
