ai16z token rockets 50% after top venture firm nod
The Ai16z token was released in 2011. More than 50% of the rocket crashed on November 18, the venture firm a16z, its code name, acknowledged the project in a post on the X forum.
Ai16z is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) run by an artificial intelligence agent named Eliza. The name refers to the venture company a16z, but the entities are not directly related.
In the year On November 18, Eddie Lazarin, Chief Technology Officer of a16z Crypto, X's post indicated that there are ongoing discussions between the venture firm and the eponymous ai16z DAO.
Shaw, one of the founders of ai16z, posted on X to seek contact on ai16z. Lazarin immediately responded, “Check your DMS [direct messages]” shows openness to officially partnering with The DAO.
According to CoinGecko, in the last 24 hours, the value of the AI16Z token has increased by about 55%. It now trades with a market capitalization of more than $480 million after its launch on October 24.

“If we're comparing this meta to Diffie Winter, then $ai16z is the $AAVE of this world… it's the technology that everyone is rooting for,” said fake crypto influencer 0xMerp in a November 18 X post.
Merp is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol that marks Aave's significant role in the decentralized finance 2021 bull market.
Ai16z aims to use decentralized AI to guide investments and support projects in the blockchain ecosystem.
“DAO owners will have the opportunity to advise on investment decisions, and our AI will diligently monitor the implementation of these recommendations,” ai16z said in an October 24 announcement.
“The people whose insights consistently produce positive results earn our AI's trust and confidence.”
Ai16z is powered by Eliza, “a flexible AI tool for creating unique, interactive characters that can connect to Discord and Twitter,” according to the a16z website.
“She can read links, PDFs, audio and video, memorize lectures and summarize for easy review,” says Eliza.
Ultimately, ai16z said on Oct. 24 that it aims to “deploy a network of specialized agents, each optimized to fulfill important tasks in the digital realm — from welcoming new members and leading conversations, to participating in online social games, and beyond.”
Agentic AI has emerged as a hot topic for liquid token investors after a16z co-founder Marc Andreessen donated $50,000 worth of Bitcoin (BTC) to Truth Terminal in July.
