Amazon and I want to make it easy to launch crypto games

Blockchain gaming company Immutable It works with Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced on Tuesday that it is developing infrastructure solutions for the crypto game industry to make it easier for developers to launch and scale blockchain games.

“Gaming is one of the fastest-growing subsectors in the blockchain industry,” AWS head of startup John Kearney added in a statement.

Kearney would not confirm how many crypto firms are part of the AWS ISV Accelerate program, but it has been reported. DecryptTo qualify, companies must be part of the AWS Partner Network and meet other unspecified requirements.

Kearney didn't specifically explain AWS's position on blockchain games, but said that many different studios are currently exploring how to use crypto-tech in their games, and he's looking forward to “seeing the future” of crypto-powered games. AWS provides cloud computing platforms and data storage services. In the gaming sector, it offers cloud gaming services, game servers, game security services, game analytics, video game artificial intelligence and machine learning offerings to name a few.
