Blockchain gaming company Immutable It works with Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced on Tuesday that it is developing infrastructure solutions for the crypto game industry to make it easier for developers to launch and scale blockchain games.
Immutable joined AWS. ISV Accelerator Program, a sales program for companies that use AWS services in their products. Using the game developers Ethereum-compatible Immutable X blockchain can now join AWS Activate, a program that provides technical support for startups, with up to $100,000 in AWS credits and other resources.
“By joining the AWS ISV Accelerate and AWS Activate programs, we can provide a broad network of game developers to rapidly build and scale Web3 games,” said Jason Sue, chief commercial officer of Immobile, in a statement.
“Gaming is one of the fastest-growing subsectors in the blockchain industry,” AWS head of startup John Kearney added in a statement.
Kearney would not confirm how many crypto firms are part of the AWS ISV Accelerate program, but it has been reported. DecryptTo qualify, companies must be part of the AWS Partner Network and meet other unspecified requirements.
Kearney didn't specifically explain AWS's position on blockchain games, but said that many different studios are currently exploring how to use crypto-tech in their games, and he's looking forward to “seeing the future” of crypto-powered games. AWS is also working with Blockchain Gaming AllianceHe added.
AWS provides cloud computing platforms and data storage services. In the gaming sector, it offers cloud gaming services, game servers, game security services, game analytics, video game artificial intelligence and machine learning offerings to name a few.
The only blockchain enterprise that works with AWS is immutable. In January, Avalanche It has announced that it has joined the AWS Partner Network and is offering AWS Activate Avalanche subnet deployment As a Service through the AWS Marketplace.
Immutable X and the upcoming Immutable zkEVM are both Ethereum scale networks, and support crypto games like Immutable's own Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians, along with Illuvium, MetalCore and Cross the Ages.
