“It was a natural progression,” Lopp said. “As the value grew, so did the attention, both good and bad.”

They realized that sophisticated threats are inevitable, but also pointed out that society has the capacity to prepare strong preventive measures. “It's like an arms race,” he suggested. “Our enemies are not permanent and neither are we.

“The trip was not without its ups and downs,” he thought. But with every challenge, there is progress in technology and in our collective wisdom.

“It's not about creating an impenetrable fortress,” Lopp explained. “It's about developing a resilient ecosystem that can adapt and thrive in the face of threats.”

In summarizing his thoughts, Lopp emphasized the collective nature of the effort. “Security is not a solitary endeavor,” he said. “It's a shared journey that requires our continued focus, ingenuity and collaboration.”
