Athir and Magic Eden join forces to develop Web 3.0 gaming.

Atir – a distributed GPU cloud computing platform – has announced a partnership with NFT giant Magic Eden to bring Web 3.0 gaming to the next level. The goal is to create a unified Web 3.0 gaming ecosystem using Aether's enterprise-grade GPU infrastructure and Magic Eden's NFT platform.

The latest initiative gives Magic Eden's gaming partners access to Aether's premium GPU-as-a-service platform, with the latter recommending Magic Eden as a premier NFT platform for its gaming partners.

In a press release shared with CryptoPotato, MagicEden is a “very versatile NFT hub” used by projects from various segments of the NFT industry, but gaming projects are an important part of the marketplace.

Coupled with the rapidly growing number and quality of blockchain games, blockchain gaming is becoming more demanding in terms of GPU power, requiring scalable cloud infrastructure to accommodate new games and players.

As such, Aether aims to provide the necessary GPU resources to power the next generation of blockchain games. With a decentralized cloud infrastructure, Web 3.0 game projects can ensure a seamless experience for their users regardless of their location.

Increasing global game access

Athir, an AI-focused GPU-as-a-service provider, said its computing infrastructure will distribute GPU container resources globally. Instead of relying on a small number of centralized big data servers, the company employs multiple distributed cloud servers.

This setup reduces the physical distance between players and GPU cloud resources, thereby reducing latency. In addition, Atir technology integrates the processing power of idle GPUs into efficient GPU utilization and cost savings, the company, which is supported by the Hashkey and Animoka brands, said in a statement.

Following the development, Magic Eden's CRO, Chris Akhavan commented;
