Beam wallet brings Amazon and Shopify purchases to users
Beam wallet has acquired Join, an app that allows users to buy and pay with Stablecoins anywhere. The acquisition will allow Beam wallet users to shop online at Amazon and Shopify, among other merchants, and pay using stablecoins. Beam has announced early access, with a release expected in February.
Self-sustaining wallet developer Eco has announced the integration of its Web3 app, allowing Beam users to shop and pay for purchases online at Amazon and Shopify using state coins.
According to an announcement made by the Beam Wallet team on Thursday, the acquisition of the join will result in onchain authentication. This will facilitate a better shopping experience for users without compromising the benefits of decentralization, the platform said on X-Threat.

Beam CEO Andy Bromberg said the merger will allow the digital wallet, which aims to make crypto payments simple and universal, to add transactions to its features.
“Payments are a killer use case for crypto,” Bromberg wrote in a post on his X account, “and soon you'll be able to buy stablecoins anywhere online.” “Beam is a very cash-like digital payment experience. We started with P2P payments, and now @DSTNYGroup and its team are bringing their decades of crypto trading experience to fruition.
Beam has announced early access for the feature, with those on the waiting list getting access starting in February. However, the wallet app has not revealed the release date of this new feature.
Beam Wallet is available on Optimum and Base networks.
