Binance celebrated its 7th anniversary with 200M users and a new campaign
The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has turned seven years old, in yet another testament to the growing digital asset industry.
Binance, which boasts more than 200 million users worldwide, has launched a new “Be Binance” campaign to celebrate the company's milestone.
Binance Chief Marketing Officer Rachel Conlan said the new campaign aims to celebrate and reward the exchange's loyal customers. She wrote in an announcement shared with Cointelegraph.
“With determination, enthusiasm and responsibility, we have faced challenges and won awards, thanks to our 200 million users. As we journey toward financial freedom, we uphold our values: humility, kindness, cooperation, and gratitude.
Binance is the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange with a daily trading volume of over $25.3 billion. That makes it more than seven times that of the second-largest exchange, Coinbase, which has a daily trading volume of $3.3 billion, according to CoinMarketCap data.

There is still “huge growth potential” with more than 200 million users – Binance exec
Although Binance already has more than 200 million users, Chief Marketing Officer Rachel Conlan says there is still great potential for growth.
Education will be key to attracting the next wave of adopters, Colan told Cointelegraph.
“Education and raising awareness is absolutely key. 200 million + is an impressive number, but when you think about it, both the industry and our user base still have huge opportunities for growth.
The exchange secured its first 100 million users within five years and 200 million in two more years. By the first half of 2024, more than 30 million news users have registered to Binance.
According to Binance's Conlan, the milestone makes the vision of reaching the first billion users of Web3 more feasible.
“A few years ago, 200 million users seemed like something out of a sci-fi movie. Today, we recognize that onboarding the first billion to Web3 will still take several years of work, but we feel it's an achievable target.

The celebration campaign offers consumers a wide range of activities, including in-person meetings, virtual events, social media contests, and upcoming promotions.
The exchange will launch a series of giveaways through social media and community channels such as Binance Square. Users can answer questions and share their Binance-related experiences to win a prize pool of Binance's BNB (BNB) token worth $7,000 and other merchandise.
The event will be celebrated in person in 19 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Spain and Benin.
Educational efforts will be a key focus of the exchange, Colan said.
“At Binance, we will continue to educate people globally about how digital assets can make their lives better and deliver products that people use and value.”
