Binance Ends Support for Bitcoin Ordinals
Binance NFT has ended its support for Bitcoin-based NFTs. On April 4, Binance posted that it will end support for Bitcoin Ordinals trading and deposits in an effort to streamline product offerings.
The exchange said it will stop offering Bitcoin NFT airdrops and utilities after April 10. The exchange also advised users to withdraw their Bitcoin NFT from the marketplace before May 18.

Dogecoiners clone hyped Bitcoin Ordinals “Runestone” airdrop
Dogecoin NFT users gifted their version of Runestones in March, similar to Bitcoin Ordinals. Over 30,000 Doge Runestones have been sent to wallets that contain at least one Doginal – Dogecoin's Ordinals protocol.
Weather of Doge Runestones mimicked the popular Bitcoin-based runestone airdrop in March. During the event, a community-led effort allowed 112,000 Runestones to be donated to the Pre-Protocol.

Coins drive “positive momentum” in Bitcoin innovation – Franklin Templeton
Asset manager Franklin Templeton has shared an investor note promoting Bitcoin Ordinals to his clients. The asset manager claims the protocol has sparked a “renaissance” of activity on the Bitcoin network. Franklin Templeton also stated that Bitcoin NFTs have shown a positive impetus in Bitcoin innovation.
While the asset manager expressed a positive outlook for Ordinals, he cautioned investors that there are risks associated with the protocol.
