Binance Issues Tokenomics Risk Warnings For Tokens That Have Changed
In an official statement, Binance has announced significant changes to Tokenomics introducing risk warnings for tokens.
“We've heard your concerns and are taking steps to increase transparency regarding Tokenomics and tokens that have made significant changes to supply. From 2024-10-01, Binance will introduce a risk warning banner and pop-up notice for these signals on our platform.
To gain trading access to tokens marked by significant Tokenomics changes, users must first accept the pop-up notification, the statement said.
In particular, tokens that have submitted Tokinomic changes or adjustments within the last 18 months will be posted under the new policy.
Which Altcoins Are Being Issued Risk Warnings?
With these changes, Binance implements a risk warning banner and pops up the following tokens that have made significant changes in Tokenomics in the last 18 months: Travala (AVA), Chiliz (CHZ), Enjin Coin (ENJ), IOTA (IOTA), Lisk (LSK), Metal Dao (MTL), Orion (ORN), Head Chain (SLF), Sun (SXP), Vanar Chain (VANRY).
Additionally, in the future, any listed tokens that undergo a significant change in Tokenomics or experience a significant increase in token supply will be subject to a risk warning banner and pop-up notice.
