Bitcoin NFTs all time sales volume reached $4B

With a 54% drop in sales in May, digital collections on Bitcoin have reached a new milestone.

On June 4, NFT data tracker CryptoSlam revealed that the total all-time sales volume of NFTs on the Bitcoin blockchain has exceeded $4 billion. The data combines NFT sales, $3.97 billion, and bath sales, $82 million.

In the last 30 days, the sales volume of Bitcoin-based NFTs has reached 171 million dollars, which is the highest position in the sales volume of the blockchain. Following the network was Ethereum, which had $159 million, and Solana, which recorded $90 million last month.

Bitcoin NFTs are still far from Ethereum

Although Bitcoin-based NFTs are leading the charts in 30-day volumes, the network is only the fourth largest blockchain in terms of sales. It follows Ronin's block, which holds the top three spots in all-time sales at $4.2 billion.

Solana-based NFTs hold the second spot with all-time sales of $5.5 billion. Meanwhile, the Ethereum network holds the top spot for NFT sales, with a record high of $43.8 billion.

Bitcoin NFTs were also hit by the market crash.

The decline in sales has also affected Bitcoin-based collections. The data shows that Bitcoin-based NFTs saw a 68% drop in sales in May.
