Bitcoin NFTs are coming back in weekly sales, reversing Ethereum

NFT clusters based on Bitcoin Ordinals surpassed Ethereum NFTs in weekly sales after a surge in volume led by the cluster NodeMonks. The sale of Bitcoin NFTs was recorded in the amount of 169.5 million dollars, an increase of 80% in a week. Ethereum, the blockchain with the highest NFT sales of all time, had $162 million in the same week.

Unclassified regulars – NFTs that are not part of any collections – had the largest sales, with a volume of $43 million in 47,000 transactions. NodeMonkes stock followed in second place with $41 million in sales.

An ordinary trader will return Bitcoin after the purchase of NFT with a thick finger

A Bitcoin Ordinals trader has been refunded after mistakenly buying $13,000 worth of NFTs. On March 1, the merchant shared their story on X to remind the public to double-check their transactions. However, the main owner of the NFTs saw the post on X and offered to repurchase the NFT.

NFT seller Dan Anderson offered to buy the property at the original sale price. According to Anderson, they listed the NFT for 0.21 BTC (about $13,000 at the time) because it was a “dunk” and not a “fish for fatties.”

Coachella and OpenSea launch NFTs with music festival gear and memorabilia

Arts and music festival Coachella has announced a partnership with OpenSea to launch NFTs with utilities at the popular event. On March 5, the festival announced that the 2024 festival will have three sets of NFTs. These NFTs act as conduits for exclusive experiences and goods.

NFTs are hosted on the Avalanche network. The collections will be released in three drops, combining Coca-Cola's intellectual property artwork with additional perks.

Rare foreigner CryptoPunk sells $16 million worth of Ethereum

A rare Alien CryptoPunk claimed the second highest selling price for an Alien CryptoPunk NFT after receiving a bid of 4,500 Ether (ETH) in March. A bid of $16 million was accepted and the property of CryptoPunk #3100 was awarded to an anonymous bidder. .

The NFT was prized for its rarity, being one of only 10,000 in the highly sought-after CryptoPunks collection. Additionally, there were only nine Alien CryptoPunks ever produced.
