Bitcoin Rally is great, but Solana, Pepe and XRP all jump in price

Bitcoin has slowed its run, but several altcoins have risen in value over the past day.

Among the top 20 largest coins and tokens by market capitalization, Solana is the best performer: up more than 7% in the last 24 hours, trading hands at $34.78, according to CoinGecko.

Last week, Solana, which until recently had been on a rally after being named in the infamous Sam Bankman-Fried trial, surged nearly 20 percent.

XRP has also made significant gains. The asset is up nearly 5% in the last 24 hours, trading at $0.58.

Meanwhile, Avalanche, the 20th largest digital asset by market capitalization, rose more than 3% in the previous day. It has been making steady gains over the past week – and is up 17% in that time frame.

And the meme coin Pepe is still in progress – the relatively new digital asset is now valued at $ 0.00000120, a 5% 24-hour price increase, but it is the winner in the last week: it jumped more than 60%.

Most digital coins and tokens experienced a jump last week as investors continued to pour money into the space due to optimism over the approval of a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF).

Several high-profile Wall Street firms have filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for this product; Now, experts think it's only a matter of time before the top regulator gives the green light to one of the applications.

Bitcoin, the largest by market capitalization, did not rise sharply in the previous day but gained about 14% in seven days.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading at $34,664.
