BitGo is launching a global version of its digital asset solutions for retail investors
Bitgo launches a global platform offering trading, stock and wallet solutions. Retail users get cold storage, self-maintenance and seamless wallet fund transfers. US registrants will be entered into a prize draw to win one Bitcoin.
BitGo, the popular cryptocurrency custodian, has unveiled a global version of its digital assets solutions tailored for retail investors.
After more than a decade of providing institutional-level services, BitGo is now expanding its offerings to everyday crypto enthusiasts, bringing the same high security measures that have made it a trusted partner to major companies and exchanges.
BitGo retail platform
Launched on December 2, the new platform offers users a comprehensive suite of services including business, wallet and wallet solutions. In addition, the BitGo retail platform includes regulatory control, which allows for both cold storage and self-storage options.
This dual approach allows users to have flexibility in how they manage their digital assets, either entirely via custodial wallets or self-custody.
The flexibility of the platform extends to its ability to seamlessly move funds between escrow and unsecured wallets within the same user interface. This integration allows retail investors to easily manage and transfer their assets while maintaining a high level of security.
Bitgo is also offering a special promotion to attract new users. US customers who sign up for the service will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win one bitcoin.
BitGo CEO Mike Belshe emphasized that the new offering is designed to provide the same institutional level of security that has made BitGo a leader in the digital asset space.
BitGo's foray into the retail space fits with its broader diversification strategy. In recent months, the company announced plans to launch a regulatory platform to manage US dollar-pegged stablecoins and Web3 native tokens.
With a current valuation of $1.75 billion, BitGo serves more than 1,500 customers in more than 50 countries, including high-profile names like Nike and more than 150 crypto exchanges.
By entering the retail market, BitGo aims to fill the gap in secure security solutions for individual crypto investors, confirming its leadership in the digital assets industry.
