Bitru is registered in Poland as VASP
Bitrue can now offer its services in and from Poland. The crypto exchange sees Europe as an important market. Poland also licensed its counterpart Bitget earlier this year.
Bitru has successfully registered as a VASP – virtual asset service provider in Poland, the crypto exchange confirmed in a press release on Friday.
The beet continues to expand in Europe.
The announcement reiterates Bitru's commitment to expanding its footprint in Europe despite cryptocurrencies going through a dry spell over the past three months.
Bitrue is now licensed in Poland and can provide its services both in and from Poland while complying with local regulations. The press release reads:
Bitru has introduced improved anti-money laundering policies and procedures, and has complied with additional Polish laws regarding VASP as part of the licensing process.
Poland seems to be a fast adopter of the crypto market. Earlier this month, Acha Bitgate was also registered in the Central European country (read more).
Bitrue sees Europe as an important market
On Friday, Bitrue confirmed that it will continue to look for opportunities to expand further in Europe, especially after the MCA (Marketing in Crypto Assets Regulations) was approved by the European Union at the beginning of May this year.
Europe is an important and developed market for Bitrue in terms of size, but when it comes to projects, Bitrue works in the region.
Last month, Robert Quartli-Genero – Bitrue's Chief Strategy Officer stated that the collapse of Terra Luna and FTX last year were helping to bring traditional financial institutions into the crypto space.
Many believe institutional interest will increase further after the Securities and Exchange Commission approves spot bitcoin ETFs.
