Bitwise predicts Bitcoin at $200,000 and Crypto Market Surge in 2025

Asset management firm Bitwise has released the ten best predictions for the crypto market in 2025. Among them, Bitcoin is expected to reach $200,000 by the end of next year, and companies with significant crypto investments may see stock market growth.

Bitwise predicts that 2025 will be a golden year for Crypto

The company expects record highs for Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana. While Bitcoin and Solana recently hit new highs, Ethereum has lagged behind.

However, Ethereum's total value locked (TVL) rose to its highest level since 2022. For Solana, meme coin activity on the network is an easy guess as it has created several bull cycles for SOL this year.

“The media wants to portray crypto political efforts in a negative light. It's actually how democracy works. If you're faced with what you think is inappropriate regulation, the only possible responses you'll have are the ones listed above,” wrote Bitwise CIO Matt Hugan.

Bitwise also announced that Coinbase will join the S&P 500 and MicroStrategy will enter the Nasdaq-100. These developments will greatly increase crypto exposure for US investors. These predictions have already started to come true.

Bloomberg ETF analysts expect MicroStrategy to be added to the Nasdaq-100 on Dec. 23, with announcements expected this week.

“MSTR could add to $QQQ by 12/23 (announcement coming on 12/13). Moderna could get a boot (figurative). S&P 500 maybe next year. Again, this is our best estimate of what will go down. We don't work on the Nasdaq,” said ETF analyst Eric. Balchunas wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

This is based on the fact that MicroStrategy's stock price has increased by 450% YTD. Also, Bitcoin's 100,000 milestone has put the company into the top 100 public US companies.

Also, Bitwise predicts that the number of countries holding bitcoins in their reserves will double. These projects are not far away. As BeenKrypto previously reported, Russian lawmakers are already proposing a national bitcoin reserve. Vancouver, Canada is exploring a similar initiative.

Meanwhile, in the US, there is strong optimism for Bitcoin reserves, as Trump promised during his campaign. The report predicts a significant increase in stablecoin market assets that could reach $400 billion, supported by the expected US legislation.

Earlier today, Ripple had the green light from NY regulators to launch the RLUSD stablecoin, which could signal significant growth for the US stablecoin market.

Overall, it's clear that Bitwise's forecasts seem to be in line with current industry activity. So, it won't be a big surprise if all these predictions come true by 2025.
