Blackrock Files S1 Form For Spot Ether Etf With Sec

BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, filed an Ether exchange-traded fund (ETF) with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on November 15.

BlackRock's move comes about a week after it registered the iShares Ethereum Trust with the Delaware Department of Corporations and about six months after it filed for a Bitcoin ETF in the space.

The world's largest asset manager launched its Bitcoin ETF rush earlier this year amid growing institutional interest in the crypto market, joining a growing list of institutions signing up for the space ETF in just six months.

This is a developing story, and more information will be added as it becomes available.
