BNB crosses $700, a new all-time high mark.
Binance's native token, BNB, has hit a new all-time high after weeks of slow growth.
The altcoin broke its previous all-time high of $686, which it held for more than three years. The new ATH is $716, which BNB price rose during the intraday rally.
This new high comes on top of a 15% gain over the past five days, during which BNB price broke through the critical resistance of $618, preventing a rally from taking place. BNB's market capitalization now exceeds $100 billion, making it more than companies like UBS, Dell and Starbucks.

The new all-time high is exciting as the four-month prison sentence for Binance founder and former CEO Chengpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, begins this Monday. CZ is being held in a federal prison in California for violating the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), to which he pleaded guilty in April of this year.
