Global crypto exchange Bybit has announced the official launch of its UK platform, making its services available to British users as demand for digital asset trading grows.
The release comes as Bybit works to comply with updated FCA cryptomarketing rules after ceasing new UK account registrations at the end of 2023 and liquidating existing positions in early 2024.
Bibit said in a statement that its UK operations are structured to meet the FCA's financial promotion standards and have strict AML and KYC processes in place. The exchange plans to expand its UK product portfolio over time.
The UK launch offers access to spot trading on 100 pairs alongside P2P functionality backed by BayBit's global liquidity and established operational controls. The company says these initial offerings are designed to provide stable market access while meeting the expectations of a sophisticated user base.
