CertiK issued a warning to Crypto investors on the iPhone
Web3 security firm CertiK has issued a warning to investors with iPhones on crypto exchange OKX after it discovered a malicious vulnerability.
“We urge OKX wallet users to update their iOS app to the latest version,” the statement said.
Certik earlier this month found an issue for Crypto investors
Certike issued the warning in a post on X (formerly Twitter), after discovering an issue earlier this month. All iPhone users are urged to update their OKX wallet apps immediately.
“Earlier this month, we identified and reported a critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in the OKX iOS app, which could put sensitive data and crypto assets at risk,” the post said.
However, CertiK crypto exchange OKX has declared that it is effective in dealing with the issue.
“The OKX team responded quickly and released an updated version today,” the statement said.
This comes after BeCrypto reported that nearly $686 million was lost to crypto hacks in the third quarter of 2023 alone. 49 crypto hacks were reported during the quarter.

Our analysis shows that more than 40% of Telegram bot tokens are likely scams.
Telegram trading bots connect to decentralized exchanges, process transactions according to a set of rules, and usually charge a small fee. Certic highlights that since July 20, these symbols have seen an “astronomical wave” in popularity, with gains of over 1000%.
