Chainlink Data Standard works directly with the AWS marketplace for hosting developers

Chainlink Data Standard Goes Live On Aws Marketplace For Tokenized Asset Builders

Chainlink's Data Tier is now available on the AWS Marketplace, providing developers with access to Chainlink Data Feeds, Data Streams, and backup authentication through Amazon's cloud platform.

It is designed to help developers and financial institutions connect traditional cloud infrastructure with blockchain networks while maintaining the security, compliance and reliability requirements used in digital asset applications.

AWS said the integration will allow developers to integrate AWS services with Chainlink's oracle infrastructure for tokenization, DeFi, standby monitoring and real-time business systems.

Blockchain networks do not connect to external data sources, APIs, identity systems, or other chains, a limitation often described as a verbal problem. For on-chain assets, that poses a major challenge because off-chain information that values those assets, including prices, ownership records, compliance status, and reserve verification, is not directly available on-chain.

ChainLink addresses the gap by connecting smart contracts to AWS services, traditional APIs, enterprise infrastructure, and other off-chain systems including blockchain.

The network can support financial institutions and DeFi protocols by bringing market data onchain, moving tokens and messages on the blockchain, automating compliance policies and enabling workflows across onchain and offchain systems.

The AWS Marketplace launch includes three Chainlink services. Data feeds provide decentralized price and market information for asset valuation, settlement and risk management. Data streams provide instant market data for applications such as perpetual futures, options and other high-performance onchain markets.

It provides proven backup credentials for stablecoins and other tokens, allowing backup verification protocols and issuers to improve transparency and reduce collateral-related risks.

AWS also lists reference architectures that show how Chainlink can be used with Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Fargate, Secrets Manager, and AWS Key Management Service.

One example uses Chainlink Proof of Reserve to ensure support for a digital asset as a stablecoin, while another uses Chainlink Data Streams to support automated trading systems for speculative markets.
