Chainlink opens 45 million LINK v0.2 staking.


Chainlink announced that Staking v0.2 is live, the pool size is 45 million LINK. v0.1 stakeholders are eligible to transfer their LINK holdings from November 28th. The minimum stake for the community is 1 LINK and 1,000 LINK for node operators.

Chainlink has officially updated its staking method, the new Staking v0.2 will go live on November 28th.

The v0.2 staking offers a pool of 45 million LINKs, covering 8% of the blockchain project's distribution supply.

Announcing that v0.2 is now live on the Ethereum mainnet, the Chainlink team said that existing v0.1 shareholders are eligible to transfer their LINK stakes from November 28th. He said the team's cumulative v0.2 rewards will give them 9x access. – Date priority migration level.

LINK holders will have access from December 7th, subject to “predefined eligibility criteria”, while general access will begin from December 11th.

The minimum community stake is 1 LINK.

It plays a vital role as the main driving force in the economic structure and security of the Chainlink network. By winning, network participants, such as node operators, support the ecosystem by locking LINK, thus helping to maintain its virtual services. In return, stakeholders receive rewards.

According to details in today's press release, stock limits will be a minimum of 1 LINK and a maximum of 15,000 LINK for the public. Meanwhile, node operators will have the opportunity to earn a minimum of 1,000 LINK and a maximum of 75,000 LINK.

As long as the pool is open, anyone can sell up to the stated amount.

A share of 40,875,000 LINK pool size out of 45 million LINK is allocated to community members. The remaining 4,125,000 LINK will be open to node operators currently serving ChainLink data feeders.
