Circuit Staking Program Breaks $500M TVL and Increases Athena Integration

George Town, Grand Cayman, March 7, 2024, Chainwire

Zircuit, a sequencer-level ZC coil with parallel circuits and AI-enabled security, today announced that its staking program has surpassed $500M in TVL. Currently in the testnet phase, Zirkuit is set to hit TVL, a mainnet that surpasses major blockchains like Linea, Manta, Mantle, Near, Scroll, Aptos, and zkSync.

Next week, Zirkit will integrate Etena, which will add to the growing list of supported protocols for Circuit Staking. Users who share USDe with Zircuit will get Zircuit Points and 7x Shards (Ethena points). Athena is a fully guaranteed and freely combinable native onchain solution for producing synthetic dollars. Other protocols in the program include Renzo, Kelp, Etherfi, Lido, Swell, Eigenpie and Liquid Collective.

Point programs have become a growing trend in crypto, providing a new way to incentivize users who contribute to the protocol. Zircuit Staking is an innovative program that allows users to stake ETH, Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) and Liquid Re-Staking Tokens (LRTs) to earn Zircuit Points. With the staking program, users can earn Circuit Points on top of any higher profits or points they already earn. Users who choose to migrate their assets to Circuit Mainnet when it goes live will be rewarded the most. Since ETH is not heavily locked down like Blast or Mantle, users can withdraw at any time and keep the points and the resulting product.

After more than a year and a half of L2 research, the Zirkuit team developed L2 with a built-in AI-enabled tracker that protects users by tracking malicious transactions. Compared to conventional security efforts that focus on the application and smart contract levels, Zircuit brings sequencer-level security (SLS). This means that every transaction on Zircuit passes low-level security checks, resulting in a more secure chain for projects and end users. Zircuit is also fully compatible with EVMs, offering greater efficiency and providing users with cheaper and faster transactions.

Backed by Pantera Capital, Dragonfly Capital and Maelstrom, Zirkuit is currently in the testnet phase with the mainnet expected to arrive in 2024. To participate in Circuit Staking, users can visit:
