Cloudforce, an AI firm specializing in Microsoft's cloud ecosystem, has secured $10 million in Series A funding led by Owl Ventures, with participation from M12's Microsoft Venture Fund.
Owl Ventures' Leeman Misimer Cloudford stands out for his ability to reinvent AI infrastructure for higher education in a way that balances enterprise-grade security with a robust user experience.

Cloudford has garnered attention for its flagship product, NebulaONE, a secure AI platform used by more than 3 million users, including major universities such as Oxford, UCLA and the University of Maryland.
Hussain Sharaf, founder and CEO of Cloudford, said the company aims to make leading AI models widely accessible without requiring users to pay high monthly fees or give up control over their personal data.
The investment will support global expansion and expansion of Nebula's platform, with a focus on secure AI access in education and healthcare.
The engagement with M12 gives Cloudforce a direct connection to Microsoft's enterprise sales and product teams, increasing the reach of the platform and its ability to deploy private cloud AI solutions.
