Coinbase Achieves Major Milestone, Lists 100th Forever Futures Contract
Coinbase International's recently updated overseas arm has reached a milestone by listing its 100th perpetual futures contract. The milestone demonstrates Coinbase's commitment to offering a variety of business opportunities and expanding its presence globally.

Notably, Coinbase's 100th Eternal Futures listing marks a major milestone for the global exchange, and this is set to be boosted by four upcoming Eternal Futures listings: Moo Deng, Algorand, The Sandbox, and Mog Coin.
Coinbase adds support for Moo Deng, Algorand, The Sandbox and Mog Coin Eternal Futures on Coinbase International Exchange and Coinbase Advanced. “Our MOODENG-PERP, ALGO-PERP, SAND-PERP and 1000MOG-PERP markets will open after 9:30 am UTC 12 DEC 2024,” said XPost.
MOG Coin, a meme token launched on the Ethereum Layer-1 blockchain, received a lot of attention after Coinbase announced that it will be added to their listing roadmap on December 3, 2024. Following this news, the token's price surged more than 20%, bringing its market cap close to $1 billion. MOG is now ranked among the top 150 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
Coinbase's move to add MOG to its listing roadmap follows similar actions for note tokens such as Moo Deng (MOODENG), which saw an impressive 80% increase during its listing.
Algorand bills itself as an energy-efficient, quantum-secure, single-layer blockchain with fast completion, consistently high revenue and cheap fees. Since December 1st, the ALGO network has seen the number of active addresses grow by 300%, jumping from 123,000 to 427,000. This massive increase, fueled by high adoption and growing use of blockchain, has pushed the price of ALGO up to $0.6133.
