College roommate talks to Sam Bankman-Fried about FTX’s $8B hole in paddle tennis court: Test

SBF's former roommate reportedly later met him near a “paddle tennis court” in the Bahamas. Sassoon's line of questioning included knowledge of Yedidia Bankman-Fried's personal relationship with former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison:

Ellison is expected to testify against Bankman-Fried as part of her plea deal with prosecutors. The trial judge, Lewis Kaplan, revoked SBF's bail in August after prosecutors accused Ellison and others of engaging in witness intimidation.
Bankuman-Fried's first criminal trial began with jury selection on October 3 and is expected to last until November. Gary Wang, one of the founders of FTX, can testify after Yedidia. Prosecutors said they may call former FTX engineering director Nishad Singh and former FTX chief operating officer Constance Wang.
