This marks Skyscanner's first implementation as a crypto-native app, according to an announcement shared with Cointelegraph.
Skyscanner's head of hotels, Sanja Vukic, said the new partnership underlines Skyscanner's commitment.
“By combining Skyscanner's market-leading search capabilities with Travala.com's crypto-native platform, we are making travel planning more accessible and accessible to the growing number of travelers who prefer alternative payment methods.”

Crypto apps with “real” use cases can boost mass adoption.
Onboarding the next 500 million users will require simple apps like Telegram's mini-apps, which could be an adoption “Trojan horse” for many, said Justin Yun, director of investments at The Open Network Foundation.
Travala could mean a big boost to mainstream Web3 adoption as the Skyscanner partnership demonstrates the value of crypto, Travala CEO Juan Otero told Cointelegraph.
“Travel marketplaces like Skyscanner are the starting point for many travelers, and Travala's presence on the world's leading travel marketplaces encourages the curiosity that leads Web2 users to the Web3 world.”
Skyscanner averages more than 80 billion daily searches, which could lead to an influx of new users discovering Travalan's crypto-driven travel platform.
