Crypto Phishing Scams Will Cost $300 Million By 2023
Web3's anti-fraud platform Fraud Sniffer has revealed an alarming amount of cryptocurrency pilfered in 2023 due to the ever-increasing number of phishing scams.
“Over the past year, the scam has tracked fraudsters stealing nearly $295 million from 324,000 victims,” the report said.

However, last year, Scam Sniffer Wallet Drainers took about $295 million from 324,000 victims.
On March 11, fraudsters took $7 million, mainly due to changes in USDC rates. According to Scam Sniffer, victims are tricked by fake club websites.

However, while hacking attacks have a wide impact, the community usually responds quickly within 10-50 minutes.
Meanwhile, Scam Sniffer notes that airdrops, organic traffic, paid ads, and hacked Discord links are not readily available.
In addition, last year, Scam Sniffer detected approximately 145,000 malicious individuals and tested approximately 12 million URLs.
The open source blacklist from Scam Sniffer currently lists nearly 100,000 malicious domains.
