Crypto Voters Could ‘Swing Key’ In 2024 US Elections: CCI Poll
Crypto users who plan to participate in the 2024 elections in the United States could be a “key swing voting group.”
According to a poll released on January 2 by the Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI), the majority of crypto-focused individuals surveyed said a candidate's stance on digital assets would be somewhat, very or extremely important. In the 2024 election, 83% said they would vote for a candidate who “wants to write clear rules” to encourage growth in the industry.
“Crypto voters are here to stay and are sending a clear message: They want Congress to prioritize cryptocurrency regulation,” said former US Senator Cory Gardner, CCI's political advisor. “This case can be a decisive factor in a strong competition, which gives a unique opportunity to any party that is ready to gain trust.”

At the time of publication, President Biden and Trump are both leading by wide margins in their respective parties. Many analysts have suggested that the general election between the two could come down to a coin toss.
Polls suggest that President Biden may have lost support from many Democrats over his response to the Israel-Hamas war. Trump has faced numerous state and federal criminal charges and legal challenges to remove him from the ballot under the 14th Amendment since his supporters stormed the US Capitol in January 2021.
