Dogecoin (DOGE) Price Alert: 50% Crash Income?
Is the DOGE headed for a two-year low?
While the largest meme coin by market capitalization showed a huge growth at the beginning of 2026, it has clearly slowed down in the last few days.
Some analysts think that the downtrend could strengthen, with the possibility of a 50% breakout.
More failure?
On January 6, DOGE climbed to a local top above $0.15, but since then the bears have regained control and are currently trading around $0.13 (according to CoinGecko).
Prominent analyst Ali Martinez has paid special attention to the price performance of MemCoin, and if the sell-off continues, it may find support at $0.06 (53% fall from the previous levels). It's worth noting that a drop to that rate would mark the asset's lowest level since November 2023.
A lack of interest in the spot DOGE ETF is also bad news for bulls. Grayscale launched the first such product in the USA late last year, while Bitwise followed soon after.
According to data from Soso Value, these investment vehicles have generated no less than $7 million in cumulative net inflows to date. The figures are dismal and suggest that big players such as pension funds, hedge funds and asset managers are reluctant to jump on the bandwagon.
For comparison, the Spot XRP ETFs (which launched in late 2025) generated a net inflow of over $1.22 billion.

The Bullish Scenario
Contrary to Martinez's pessimistic view, many other market observers believe that DOGE's value is on the verge of a major resurgence. X user CryptoPulse has listed three key factors including a strong dividend rate, RSI golden cross formation and MACD in the bullish zone to predict that MemCoin could rise to $0.20-$0.21 in the short term.
Bitcoinsensus was more optimistic. They argued that the doge bull cycle was about to repeat, assuming a 900% pump to $1.80.
Meanwhile, whales have been on a buying spree lately, which is definitely interpreted as a positive element. According to X User's CEO, the biggest investors accumulated nearly $140 million (about $20 million) in a 12-hour period.
Efforts in the field can affect inflation by reducing the spread of the asset (should demand remain the same or increase). Additionally, whaling can attract smaller players, who can channel fresh capital into the ecosystem.
