DOGS memecoin releases roadmap for first half of 2025

DOGS, a memecoin built on The Open Network (TON), has released its roadmap for the first half of 2025, outlining plans for DOGS-based games, community engagement through local charities, and expanded payment use cases for the DOGS token.

According to the roadmap, users will have the option to use their DOGS tokens, inspired by Telegram founder Pavel Durov's drawing of a dog, later this year for online and offline purchases such as gift cards and travel bookings.

Individuals can register local chapters of non-profit organizations to facilitate philanthropic work supported by the community's $4.5 million philanthropic contribution with $6 billion in unclaimed DOGS tokens.

The DOGS community recently told Cointelegraph that one of its partnerships with charity groups includes Best Friends Animal Society, which houses homeless animals in the United States.
