DWF Labs has appointed Ling Jiang as Head of Business Development Strategy. Jiang will lead the company's strategic initiatives and business development, replacing Eugene Ng, who was recently fired following allegations of drinking during a job interview.

Eugene Ng has been removed from his position at OpenEden. A former partner at DWF Labs allegedly tried to drug a job applicant at a meeting in Hong Kong.
The incident happened in On October 24, 2024, a woman named “Hannah” meets Ng in a bar for a work-related conversation. While Hana was in the bathroom, Ng allegedly spiked her drink, an act witnessed by bar staff who later informed her of the incident.
Once back at the table, Hanna starts to feel dizzy and says that Ng tried to force her into the hotel room by pretending to give her more information about a possible job. She later reported the matter to the police and submitted the surveillance footage as evidence.
Khanna said in a series of tweets that the authorities are investigating the case with the help of CCTV footage of the alleged incident.
Following these allegations, Ng's social media accounts were made private.
DWF Labs quickly addressed the situation, firing Ng from all management and operational roles and launching an internal investigation. The company, however, did not provide details about the scandal.
