DWF Labs is a certified safety education partner with UCLA.
DWF Labs has partnered with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) on a new educational initiative focused on tokenized securities.
Web3 investor and crypto market maker Alex Nascimento, a recent blockchain educational initiative led by UCLA faculty member and author, will be featured in a case study in the upcoming STO Financial Revolution book.
With these initiatives, DWF aims to raise institutional awareness of tokens and security token offerings (STOs), said Andrey Grachev, managing partner of DWF Labs.
In an announcement shared with Cointelegraph, Grachev wrote:
We are excited to share our experience and help shape the future of the industry by influencing how institutions interact with digital assets and stocks.
Tokenized Securities are financial instruments placed on a blockchain ledger for greater accessibility as part of the broader Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization sector – seen as the next significant opportunity in the blockchain industry.
Some of the world's largest financial institutions and business consulting firms say that the RWA sector will grow more than 50 times by 2030 and reach more than $30 trillion.

More educational institutions are realizing the transformative potential of blockchain technology.
Universities are seeing blockchain as “critical infrastructure” for the future of financial technology for two main reasons, DWF Labs' Grachev told Cointelegraph:
“Future professionals need to be equipped with the skills and knowledge to lead this blockchain-enabled economy.
DWF Labs aims to continue the education between traditional and cryptocurrency organizations in collaboration with research and educational institutions, Grachev added.

RWA Token: The Next $10 Trillion Blockchain Opportunity?
Most organizations are predicting that the RWA sector could reach a market size of $4 trillion to $30 trillion by 2030.
If the sector were to achieve the average forecast of about $ 10 trillion, including the stable coin market, it represents a growth of 54 times the value of around $ 185 billion.
The RWA sector could begin to encompass more of the world's financial markets as the industry grows, shaping how people invest, trade in financial markets and own assets, according to a Trane Financial research report:
“The merging of traditional finance with blockchain technology is not just a trend, but a fundamental shift towards a more accessible, efficient and flexible financial ecosystem.”
Still, stablecoins continue to dominate the RWA sector, with a market share of more than $170 billion by October 2024. By comparison, securities and treasuries onchain are valued at $2.2 billion.
