Elon Musk X plans to introduce Smart Hashtags, a new feature aimed at improving how financial assets like stocks and cryptocurrencies are referenced on the platform, X product chief Nikita Bier said on Sunday.
The feature allows users to specify the exact asset or smart contract when ticking, reducing ambiguity in crypto, equities and other financial instruments. Tapping on the Smart Cashtag will display real-time price information alongside posts mentioning the same property.
