Fake Curve Finance App Listed On The Apple Store


A fake app impersonating the decentralized finance protocol Curve has been listed on the Apple App Store.

According to a warning issued by the developers on February 14, there is currently no official DeFi Curve app. “Beware of scams,” Curve staff wrote. “A fake has been spotted with our logo on it! Goodbye.”

Unauthorized Curve App MK Technology Co. Ltd as the inventor. A single Proton email address with the descriptor “Curve Finance” is provided on the official website hosted by Google. There are no more apps created by MK Technology on the App Store.

Currently rated 4.6 out of 5 stars with nine reviews, the fake app advertises itself as a “powerful app to manage your debtors and loans.”

“Also, users can find entertainment in the app by playing a puzzle game in the game section. There are two types of game to play, classic and dance,” the cheater wrote. It is unclear at the time of publication if the app is simply using the Curve Finance brand without permission or is designed to steal users' wallet assets using in-app features.
