Through its Innovation Lab, Fetch.ai aims to create innovative solutions to solve global challenges. The group hopes to foster collaboration between industry, academia and students to push the boundaries of AI for real-world applications.

“We are excited to continue our collaboration with IX on this pioneering initiative,” said Sana Wajid, Chief Development Officer of Fetch.ai Innovation Labs. “Together, we aim to create a vibrant ecosystem that fosters innovation, nurtures talent and empowers academia, industry and government to make meaningful technological advances.”

The Fetch.ai Innovation Lab has three main objectives, including “Accelerating AI-Driven Innovation”, “Fetch.ai Ambassador Innovator Club” and “Fetch.ai Internship Incubator Program”.

Through the Startup Accelerator, Fetch.ai aims to support early-stage startups and help them grow into industry leaders in AI. The project has allocated $10 million in funding to support AI projects worldwide, including in San Francisco, India and London.

The Ambassador Program offers hackathons, workshops and networking opportunities to stimulate new ideas and encourage innovators to build AI applications using autonomous agents.

The incubator program provides internships to talented individuals by giving them hands-on experience working on real-world AI projects. The lab runs workshops and events to promote learning and showcase successful AI applications.

“We look forward to continuing our partnership with Fetch.ai and participating in this exciting initiative,” said IX Associate Director Professor Sofia Yaliraki. “I-X's participation in the Innovation Lab marks another significant step in our mission to transform society through AI and digital technologies.”

According to Prof. Yaliraki, the collaboration will create a vibrant ecosystem that nurtures talent, facilitates collaboration between academia and industry, and promotes meaningful technological advancements. This involves bringing together academia, policymakers and the community to create AI solutions that serve a strong public good.

Fetch.ai, a London-based innovation lab, will launch after the successful launch of its San Francisco lab in August. The new lab is open to AI research, industrial PhDs and collaborations with industries and organizations looking to collaborate on AI-based solutions.
