For the first time in 2023, something amazing happened to Bitcoin

The number of Bitcoin wallets with at least 100 BTC has recently increased to nearly 16,000, the largest one-day increase of this year was recorded on October 13. Following these developments, the price of Bitcoin increased by 5%. Rumors that the US SEC had approved BlackRock's BTC ETF application further weighed on the price, although they were later denied. Bitcoin whales have increased their holdings significantly since the market crash in mid-August, with large investors buying more than 11,600 BTC in less than a week at the end of August.

According to behavioral analytics platform Santiment, the number of Bitcoin wallets containing at least 100 BTC recently rose to 16,000. The figure was topped up by 115 new addresses last Saturday (October 13), marking the biggest one-day increase this year.

Interestingly, the price leader cryptocurrency increased by more than 5% after these developments. The growth could have been even more significant if the US SEC's filing of BlackRock's position to launch a BTC ETF in the US is true.
After the covers spread the crypto space, the original digital asset exploded to nearly $30,000 (per CoinGecko). However, it quickly rebounded to about $28,000 after more clarity.
The whales were stocking up.
