Gaming distributor G2A launches gaming-focused NFT marketplace.
Digital game provider G2A recently launched a marketplace related to Web3 games.
According to a press release sent to Cointelegraph, the new project launched on November 15 aims to expose the Web3 and NFT games developed by the G2A team. With this, players will have the opportunity to see what blockchain gaming has to offer and NFTs from games paired with G2A.
At @G2A_Geekverse we believe the Web3 gaming rumor is more than just words.

In a statement, G2A Capital Group CEO Bartos Sukarsek said the company has been following the development of the blockchain gaming sector since the arrival of NFT gaming project Cryptokitties. While watching, it became clear that players are engaging with the sector even though some devout players hate cryptos. He explained.
“The players are proven to be familiar with the blockchain gaming industry, and a significant portion of them already play Web3 games and have also ventured into NFT trading from games.
As a result, the game vendor launched G2A Geekverse to provide an online space for fans of Web3 games. Skwarczek added that in this space, players will “find information about the best Web3 games” and “have the opportunity to buy and sell digital assets related to these games.”

Traditional game distributors are warming up to Web3 games starting in 2023. In July, the Google Play Store started accepting NFT games with limited restrictions. According to the team, NFTs allow games for sale or for earning. However, the app's distributor clarified that it does not allow gambling with NFTs.
In addition to Google Play, video game developer and publisher Epic Games has been open about web3 games. On June 22, the Epic Games Store listed Gods Unchained, an NFT collectible trading card game on par with popular titles like Magic: The Gathering and Hearthstone. The Game Store is on track to list another blockchain-based game called Eluvium on the Game Market on November 28.
