The GOAT Game is about to launch AlphaGoat – everyone will be on their ‘own team'

Players may soon be making money without lifting a finger when AI-powered Telegram gaming network GOAT Gaming drops its AI agents next month.

The “AlphaGOATs” will play games for you, predict markets, and even earn crypto for you — but hey, maybe don't quit your day job just yet.

Starting February 6, AlphaGOATs will be able to compete in mini-game tournaments across the GOAT Gaming ecosystem, which has over 5 million active players.

“It's like being in Rome and owning a stable of gladiators,” Mighty Bear Games CEO Simon Davies told Web3 Gamer.

He says that a variety of games are coming to the GOAT ecosystem that are specifically designed for AlphaGOTs to play independently.

“For example, one of them has two players killing each other with rocket launchers; it's over the top and very funny,” he says.

If your AlphaGOAT is turned into a “Top Performer”, their matches will be streamed live, and you'll receive rewards based on how popular the stream is – paid out in GOAT's cryptocurrency token, which is depleting sometime in Q1 2025.

Davis said there is also a “friends with benefits” affiliate plan. If your agent promotes affiliate links, anyone who joins GOAT Gaming through the link will earn you some crypto.

Balance.fun co-founder Norris Wang said investors will approach NFT's in a different way to the 2021 bull run, which he feels is more of an “everything” Pokemon approach.

“To be honest, user demand for NFTs in Web3 games is waning,” an executive at the blockchain gaming platform tells Web3 Gamer.

Wang believes that the speculative era is behind us, and gaming NFTs should “return to their origins” and be tied to characters in fun games.

“Game users have to really love the game, and buy NFT, just like you love a certain character in Genshin Impact and want to spend a lot of money to draw cards,” he says.

“If this character is an NFT, its ownership is truly given to the user. This is the future of gaming NFTs.”

One NFT collection that has been getting a lot of hype lately is Parallel Avatars. Parallel Colony, the highly anticipated AI-survival game, is a collection of hand-crafted AI agents set to release later this year.

The current floor price is 0.66 Ether (ETH) or about $2,190 USD.

Despite the green shoots, only time will tell if NFTs make a real comeback this year. In the year In 2024, the market had its worst year for trading volume and sales since 2020, fueled by increased volatility and token prices, according to Dapradar.

Wang observes two major Web3 gaming trends for 2025: how AI is used in gaming and the value of node sales (the method to raise capital is by selling blockchain nodes to the community) in gaming and social media projects.

He also thinks that interactions between AIs and other AIs, as well as between AIs and humans, will be “the future of mainstream gaming.”

The Telegram game craze is still going strong, and now the classic mobile phone Flappy Bird is back – as a crypto-to-play game.

If you've never played Flappy Bird, you've probably experienced some variation of the game where you control an animal that flies between green bars while trying not to hit them while collecting eggs along the way.

You can level up and earn points, and it's a fun and addictive game that will keep you connected.

It's one of those games where you need a few warm-up attempts before you really get into it, but once you're in the zone, it's a lot of fun. If you're into games like Angry Birds and Cube Runner, you might enjoy this one too.

The most annoying thing for me in the game is the slight delay between touching the screen and the bird actually moving. I tend to tap twice before the first one registers, so my results aren't that great (as you can see on the right).

Overall, the game is not mind blowing, but extremely addictive, easy to play and definitely tests your patience. Oh, and strong warning – hitting those green bars might make you pull your hair out.

The game is currently in “Flap-a-TON” mode, and playing now will put you in the running for the FLAP crypto token airdrop when it launches in 2025.

So, no crypto for now, but fingers crossed that the project will actually provide them with that token.

It also has a strong community behind it. According to the roadmap, a “dedicated group of fans” formed the Flappy Bird Foundation with the aim of attracting players to a simple traditional game.
