GoDaddy, a giant web host; announced Today, GoDaddy's partnership with Ethereum Name Service (ENS), a popular Web3 domain service, enables more than 20 million domain owners to connect their domains to ENS without worrying about technical background or additional costs.

Like GoDaddy's Blog post, the move aims to replace complex wallet addresses that are often associated with long and complex strings of characters with forgettable domain names. To achieve this, GoDaddy introduced a new DNS feature that enables fast communication between GoDaddy's domain names and ENS-compatible crypto wallets, including popular options like Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask and Uniswap Wallet.
However, transferring domain names to work with ENS was expensive due to gas fees. To solve this, ENS has deployed new smart contracts that require you to verify that you are the owner of the domain name and that your crypto is the wallet name.
The result of this partnership is seamless, cost-free integration with domain names now serving as wallet addresses. Users can send and receive crypto on many blockchain applications using a domain name of their choice.
Paul Nix, president of Domains at GoDaddy, expressed optimism about the partnership. he said:
