Google Has Closed An Ai Training Agreement With Reddit

Google and social media platform Reddit have partnered to provide content to train the search engine's massive artificial intelligence (AI) models. In an announcement, Reddit said it would provide Google with improved methods for training models.

Through the partnership, Google can use Reddit's Data Application Programming Interface (API), which provides real-time content from the Reddit platform, access to Reddit's extensive content, and displays Reddit content on Google products.

Reddit accesses Vertex AI, Google's AI-powered service designed to improve companies' search results. Reddit explains that this update does not affect the terms of the data API, which restricts commercial access without the consent of developers or companies.
