AMA session with Evgeny Vahteev from Guru Network

BeInCrypto: We are excited about the upcoming AMA session! Today, we are excited to have a special guest – CTO of Guru Network 🔥😏

Betfury

🗣 Community I ask Evgeny Vahteev (@evahteev) some questions. He then answers the 3 most interesting questions (quick reminder: we've already collected these questions!) 🔥

These 3 lucky community members will get $20 💸

What was the primary vision behind creating dex.guru and how has this vision evolved since its inception?

Evgeny: That's a great question, especially since we moved to the Guru Network. Many people remember us from the Dex Guru trading terminal days and wonder why we moved to a network model, what orchestration entails and why AI plays a role in it.

As a DeFi trading terminal, we pioneered the DeFi trading experience by providing a unified platform that integrates real-time trading with deep analytics and provides both components in one accessible interface.

That was a new concept back then when BNB was just starting and Polygon was steaming. We spent the entire DeFi summer at the terminal, got VC funding, and then UST, FTX and summer came, so TGE plans were postponed, and the retail volume dried up, we switched to a lineup of B2B products that mostly come from the same back.

Here is our trading terminal with traders category and analysis.

We initially created a block browser and then started offering it to different blockchain networks.

The first was a canto, and then on 18 chains.

We started by offering B2B products to various blockchain networks and soon realized the need to grow our offerings. This led to the creation of the Guru Data Warehouse, expanding our suite of tools to better serve our customers.

image 184

At some point, we realized that our real strength was not just in providing data analytics tools, but in providing a comprehensive developer toolkit for the developer community. This realization led to the transformation of Guru Data Warehouse into a full development platform, which eventually became Guru Network and Flow.

And that leads us to the Guru Multichain AI Orchestration layer that we'll be launching in the coming weeks.

BIC: Please give us an overview of the technology stack that powers dex.guru.

Evgeny: Sometimes we started when there were no reliable RPC providers on the market. That's why our technology stack starts with the nodes we run ourselves for the chains we support (then we have an ETL pipeline inherited from the open-source ethereum ETL (Python) extensively built for DFI needs (prices, pools, dex, scales etc.). DB data storage, Next.js and React Apps is the main repository.

BIC: Dex.guru combines business and analytics on one platform. Can you explain how this integration benefits users compared to using separate platforms for business and analytics?

Evgeny: That's the concept we started with DexGuru, many decentralized exchanges (DEXes) with market options. Users appreciated the sense of control and the ability to conduct their own research (DYOR) directly on the platform.

We've continued to deliver in the same user-centric way, and now offer the data-rich Guru Storage Analytics suite, fully integrated and embedded within the platform.

We have a new DexGuru V2 Auto coming soon.

BIC: What are some new innovations or developments that you are particularly proud of?

Evgeny: As we expanded our B2B analytics products, we started tackling the performance and orchestration side of things, not just the data reading aspects. This led us to our first implementation of Chainflow during the ETHOnline hackathon, which further evolved into Flow and eventually the Guru Network.

Chainflow served as a proof of concept for future BBPA (Blockchain Business Process Automation) engines, which now run as a compute layer on the Guru Network – Compute Orchestration Chain.

We then implemented data-aware AI agents in our block explorers, organized in the same way as Chainflow. The translations are done according to the BPMN standard:

Process definitions run on Guru Network Orchestrator nodes and are similar to scripts on the Guru Network because they act as script editors and pointers at the same time and trigger events based on messages from other engines.

BIC: Our common question is: how to ensure the safety and reliability of the platform, especially considering the decentralized nature of the service?

Evgeny: At DexGuru, we rely on our vendors' security practices because we work as aggregators. This approach allows us to use established, robust security protocols across multiple platforms to ensure the safety and reliability of our services.

We have devoted significant time and resources to conducting in-depth security audits and assessments prior to the main network operation of the Guru Network, particularly the process definitions smart contracts we plan to deploy.

BIC: That whole Guru Network thing sounds complicated… how does a simple user get started?

Ivany: That's a good question. We are constantly working to simplify our platform and improve the user experience at Guru Network, as well as the documentation available on it.

BIC: What trends do you see in the decentralized space, and how is dex.guru preparing to take advantage of these trends?

Evgeny: As new financial methods emerge, we see the DeFi space becoming increasingly complex for consumers. Recognizing the growing user demand for Web3 Automation, we are responding by introducing DexGuru V2 Auto.

image 179

These Web3 automation functions help our users monitor global trends and automate their common tasks and habits, increasing their overall efficiency and effectiveness.

BIC: How will Guru Network's BBPA Engine (Blockchain Business Process Automation) impact the future of DeFi automation? Can you share some specific examples of how DeFi can be used to automate tasks?

Evgeny: Yes, there are some clear examples of business strategy that can be seen in the screenshot I provided earlier. But, we also see it as a catalog where gurus contribute to trading, exit strategies, trends, and other hacks we all love.

Users can select and deploy automated snippets from a catalog, paying an instant fee to the guru who developed and published the snippet.

BIC: BTW, user experience is critical to retaining traders and analysts. What measures has dex.guru taken to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience?

Evgeny: We plan to launch DexGuru V2 with a completely new interface and automations, first to a private beta within our Guru NFT Season Pass holders community, and then with the launch of the Guru Network mainnet.

Let the screenshots speak for themselves:

Also the automations I mentioned earlier and posted as screenshots.

BIC: What about the community? How important is dex.guru's involvement in development and growth?

Evgeny: We have an active community of DeFi users and Guru Season Pass NFT holders.

We initially plan to launch within our community, offering incentives for Season 2 NFT Collection invites and automations from tGuru Faucet.

We plan to release it in the coming weeks before the TGE and LBP events, which are most recently scheduled for late May or June.

BIC: How is the Guru Network managed? Will token holders have a role in decision-making?

Evgeny: So the community can increase their rewards by helping us make DexGuru V2 Auto better.

We extended the interim administration two years ago, at which time we transferred our TNG plans.

But now we are reversing that idea and will be providing a governance framework for the Guru Network in the coming months before the main network launches.

BIC: What can users expect from dex.guru in the next year or two? Are there any major updates or expansions on the horizon?

Evgeny: The launch of the Guru Network and the expansion of the ecosystem will encourage innovation and integration around the Web3/AI Orchestration narrative, across technologies and user flows. You can learn more about it here.

These plans cover a period of two years.

BIC: Thank you! Let's move on to the community questions 😈

@MEHEDIIA

The Guru Enlightenment Network (GEN) aims to bridge AI and blockchain technologies. Can you elaborate on how GEN facilitates user flows and business processes in on-chain and off-chain environments and what real-world applications this enables?

Evgeny: Guru Flow, a key product in the Guru Network ecosystem, integrates user actions, Web3 transactions, data insights and a computational layer, including predictive models as needed. Real-world applications range from the Web3 Auto POC, to more complex and business-oriented projects like Pixelpact (our first Guru Ecosystem venture.

Pixelpact focuses on simulating real-world assets, particularly works of art, that serve as the basis for creating unique NFTs. These NFTs are generated through three hybrid models that incorporate user input with the original art to represent the real artwork and its value in exhibition events. By forging these NFTs, attendees support artists and participate in ongoing social financing activities available to NFT holders. Those are basic examples that are already implemented and clicked by users.

For those interested in joining the Guru Network community and exploring income opportunities, what are the steps to participate? Where can individuals purchase and register tokens to participate in the project's ecosystem?

Evgeny: We have several network participants in our ecosystem. Contributing gurus for agents and AI/Web3 automation. Ecosystem projects that are using processes from catalog and flow technology as a framework to run their full-stack applications across AI, Web2 and Web3 contexts and retail have the ability to choose and automate their DeFi routines and GPT tasks. It works from a catalog and starts getting results in minutes.

We are currently working on better documentation and guidelines for each audience of Guru Network participants to show a clear path to participating in the ecosystem and earning.

How does DexGuru V2 (auto) differentiate itself from traditional analytics platforms, and what features can users expect from this closed beta release?

Evgeny: Reaches our traditional feature Business Analytics Dex Guru V2 is looking to deliver new Web3 automation features. Those automation scenarios are based on accessible data, synthetic indicators, and trained AI models, and are performed unsupervised in a user-controlled environment. That gives a completely new perspective on the activities possible with DeFi, eliminates human errors and makes our lives easier. On the other hand, community members (gurus) who develop and publish their scripts and agents in the catalog are incentivized by the users who deploy and operate them with instant and infrastructure fees.
