How Dogecoin crashed after SpaceX’s lost starship wheel
Dogecoin's market cap recently experienced a 7.50% decline, going from $0.0857 to $0.0802, following an unexpected development from SpaceX.
Elon Musk's aerospace company, Starship, has reported that its spacecraft has been destroyed during a key test flight. This marks a major setback for SpaceX's Deep Space Launch System, especially for its second flight test.
SpaceX engineer John Insprucker revealed in a live broadcast that the Starship's automated flight termination system may have activated prematurely while on course.
“What we believe now is that the automatic flight termination system on the second stage appears to have activated too late in the fire,” Insprucker said.
This event not only affected SpaceX's space exploration goals, but also sent ripples through the crypto market, which saw Dogecoin's price plummet.
