Hut 8 has entered into an AI infrastructure partnership with Anthropoc and Fluidstack to develop a large-scale AI data center infrastructure across the US.

Under the terms of the agreement, HAT 8 will provide 245 MW to 2,295 MW of data center capacity to Anthroposic.

Asher Ginot, CEO of Hut8, said the challenge of deploying an advanced AI infrastructure ultimately comes down to power delivery, and differentiated the company's development strategy to meet the needs of mainstream model builders.

The collaboration with Anthropoc and FluidStack will integrate power, data center design and computing into a single platform designed for high-end deployments, Genoote added.

The first phase will begin at the Louisiana HAT 8 River Bend campus, with 245 megawatts of IT capacity supported by 330 megawatts of utility power. Future funds include expansion rights at River Bend and optional development at additional Hut 8 sites.

The companies are targeting early 2027 to deliver new capacity.

“This partnership is an expansion of our work with Fluidstack and represents a new opportunity to bring additional capacity online in early 2027 in partnership with Hut 8,” said James Bradbury, head of Anthropic Compute. “Hut 8's ability to provide and deliver infrastructure at scale provides the necessary runway to continue advancing the capabilities of our models.”
