HyperLiquid Faces $60 Million Amid North Korea Hacking Rumors, HyperLiquid Denies Any Exploitation

Decentralized exchange (DEX) HyperLiquid is facing major turmoil after its $60 million USD listing is fueled by rumors that North Korean hacking groups are actively targeting the platform. This has impacted his home country HYPE which has fallen over 10% in the last 24 hours. Cybersecurity expert Taiwano said on December 22 that data on the chain showed that North Korean hackers had targeted HyperLiquid. The hackers have been actively trading on the platform since their activities began, causing losses of over $700,000. However, Hyperliquid Labs has denied any exploits or vulnerabilities on the platform and assured users that their funds are safe.
