Illuvium Preview: Everything you need to know about NFT games

Illuvium is a sci-fi fantasy NFT game IP with four games in development: Illuvium Arena, Overworld, Zero and Beyond. While each of these titles are separate games, they offer some interactive and cross-game rewards.
The Illuvium Group has launched its own Ethereum ERC-20 token, ILV, and its own marketplace, Illuvidex. There is also a community-based voting system with the Illuvium DAO that suggests new initiatives for the Illuvium ecosystem.
Here's what you need to know about the vast world of Illuvium.
What are Illuvium NFTs?
Populating the world of Illuvium are over 150 different alien-like fantasy creatures called Illuvials. Eluvials are collectable NFTs, and each creature has a different “similarity” or affinity that gives them strengths and weaknesses against certain characters, such as Pokémon. Eluvials can be used in the Arena and Overworld.
But not every Illuvium NFT is Illuvial – the group is also released Remove NFTs, drone skins and game badgesTo name a few. The Eluvium Group is also selling. Virtual land NFTs To play Zero through the marketplace Illuvidex.
Fans can also buy Eluvitar D1sksPacks containing Illuvitars and accessories to play Illuvium Beyond. Illuvitars are collectable profile-drawing style NFTs inspired by Illuvials.
What is the ILV token?
Eluvium Token, or ERC-20 ILV tokenIluvium is a symbol of encryption and governance. ILV is used to reward players in Illuvium's various games, and is a token used by Illuvium's DAO as a voting chip. ILV can also be paid for rewards.
How does Illuvium DAO work?
Eluvium is a token-based decentralized online community, or DAO; Management of the IluvinatiAccording to the DAO website, it has about 4,400 members. In the Illuvium DAO, there are five different sub-councils at the time of writing: Main Council, Game Council, Strategy Council, Marketing Council, and Community Council. Members of each council can choose different ideas to help improve the Eluvium ecosystem, from technical changes to merchandising ideas to PVP tournaments.
Why does Eluvium use Immutable X?
Immutable X is a layer-2 Ethereum blockchain from crypto startup Immutable. According to 2022 Blog postIlluvium uses Immutable X because Immutable's blockchain allows “off-chain” NFT ming and Immutable's IMX token is not required for transactions. Immutable X also gives Illuvium the ability to provide additional “gas-free” or transaction-free transactions, meaning players are not required to “sign” with their crypto wallets for every change to their NFT collections.
What is Eluvium Arena?
Illuvium Arena In a player-vs-player (PVP), turn-based creature battleground game, players must place cards of their magical creatures known as Eluvials, which become characters that automatically fight on a small square game board.
Eluvial NFTs can be bought and purchased, but some game versions and modes allow players to get a small selection of Eluvial for free. In turn-based 1v1 arena games, players must use character knowledge and strategy to defeat their opponents by managing their card spending resources.
Arena Survival Mode is a player-versus-environment (PVE) battle arena experience where players must battle the computer as it deploys eluvial waves across the board. In Arena's Ascendant mode, players can engage in PVP battles to climb the game's leaderboard. In Arena's Leviathan mode, players will pit themselves against each other in PVP-style “against some of the most incredible teams imaginable,” according to Iluvium's website, which did not reveal further details about the mode.
At the time of this writing, Illuvium Arena is currently accepting registrations for the open beta, and is available on PC and Mac.
What is Illuvium Overworld?
Illuvium Overworld It's an open-world role-playing game (RPG) set in the Iluvium ecosystem. In the Overworld, players can fly, explore seven diverse and colorful regions, forge gear, harvest and mine resources and Illuvials in mini-Arena-like PVE gameplay experiences.
In the Overworld, when a player approaches an Illuvial Aura, they are taken to an Arena Battle event where they seek out the Illuvials to try to capture the new challenger.
Illuvium Overworld is currently taking open beta registrations and is available for PC and Mac players.
What is Illuvium Zero?
Illuvium Zero is a real-time strategy (RTS) game where players can build and manage their own “digital industrial complex”. Zero is a resource simulation game that allows players to use the fuel they spend in the Illuvium Overworld or sell it for crypto on Illuvium. Illuvium calls Zero a companion game, and the alpha version is currently only available to Land NFT owners. Illuvium Zero launches for Android devices, Mac and PCs.
What is Beyond Illuvium?
Beyond the Illuvium It's a fully released NFT-based browser experience where players can use their Illuvitar NFTs to climb the leaderboards. Each Eluvitar can have different accessories and attributes that determine their “power level”. A further objective is to gain album points for each Eluvitar power level as possible by swapping accessories and storing them.
In a sense, Illuvium Beyond is a competitive art modding and collecting game, where the art is a collection of user-generated animal cards. Additionally, it offers a six-tier ranking system, with players ranked from “unranked” to bronze, silver, gold, platinum and diamond – similar to many competitive games.
Which Eluvium games are on the Epic Games Store?
Illuvium Overworld and Arena games will soon be available as a 2-to-1 list According to the Illuvium Epic Store page on the Epic Games Store. The Illuvium download will begin early access on the Epic Store on November 28th this year.
