Invesco Galaxy spot Bitcoin ETF joins BlackRock on the DTCC platform
Invesco and Galaxy's spot Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded fund (ETF) — BTCO — has appeared on the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) website, marking a step forward in the application process for the two asset managers.
EFF has been added to the list since the web archive WayBack Machine showed no listing.
A symbol added to the list of “ETF Products” on the DTCC website is not a guarantee of the future validity of that product.
Adding securities to NSCC's security eligibility file is standard practice for DTCC, a DTCC spokesperson said in a statement.
The spokesperson added: “Appearance on the list does not indicate the outcome of any advanced regulatory or other approved procedures.
The application for the common space Bitcoin ETF managed by global investment firm Invesco and crypto asset fund Galaxy Digital was reactivated on June 21.
