Bitcoin Inventor Active On X (Twitter)? Satoshi Post Sends Crypto Community Into Turmoil

After five years of inactivity, the X (former Twitter) account with the handle @satoshi posts about Bitcoin. Although no one knows who controls this account, the community is in an uproar, and Bitcoin SV (BSV) is up 30 percent. Is Satoshi Nakamoto back?

Since the disappearance of Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008, there has been much speculation about the true identity of the creator of Bitcoin. Even Elon Musk and Steve Jobs were suspected to be behind this mysterious man, but no one could prove it.

The Mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto Post

On October 2nd, there was a surprise for the crypto community. The X account @satoshi, who has been inactive since 2018, broke his silence and wrote a post. And so he said.

“Bitcoin is a crawling machine. In the coming months, we will explore various aspects that are not clearly covered in the white paper. These aspects are all part of bitcoin, and they are important. Some of these ideas have been touched on in the early years; it is time to clarify and clarify.”

By “reptile machine”, the author of this tweet may indicate that cryptocurrency only works with truth values and does not allow fraud.

In response to this tweet, BSV experienced a 30% explosive price increase on October 2nd and the following day, outperforming Bitcoin and Ethereum.

But could Nakamoto really be behind this account? Unsurprisingly, this tweet sparked fresh speculation about his real identity.

Former nChain CEO Christine Ager-Hansen said Craig Wright took control of the account. Also, he often acted like Satoshi Nakamoto.

Andy Rowe was also associated with the tag, but has since distanced himself and stated that he is not Nakamoto. wrote:

No, I'm not @satoshi. The only “cheating” I've done so far is to advocate for infinite blocks. That is forbidden in the “unsanctioned” crypto world.

It's still unclear who is behind the X account, but BSV, the 2018 spinoff of Bitcoin Cash, plays a central role in this identity drama. The development of the hard fork was led by Wright, who wanted to restore the blockchain to its original protocol.

He believes that the vision that existed then is very different from the implementation today.

Bitcoin was created for everyone. The next halving is an important predicted event as transaction fees begin to replace mining subsidies.

There are many who do not want you to know the truth. Not to silence this account. They want to silence you. 2024 is the Year of the Dragon.
