In March, Magic Eden passed the blur as the leader of the NFT marketplace: CoinGecko
Solana-based NFT marketplace Magic Eden recorded a 194.4% increase in monthly trading volume, surpassing the leading platform's blurb in March. The NFT trading platform recorded a trading volume of $756.5 million last month, while Blur recorded $530.4 million.
According to CoinGecko, Magic Eden's growth is due in part to its newly implemented Diamond Rewards program and its ongoing partnership with NFT company Yuga Labs. Magic Eden's addition in March marks the sixth consecutive month of increased business volume.

Yuga Labs dropped two NFT games in an effort to “catch up” the BAYC team
Yuga Labs, creator of the popular NFT collections Bored Up Yacht Club (BAYC) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), has sold the intellectual property (IP) rights to two games: HV-MTL and Legends of Mara. According to Yuga Labs, it has acquired the Web3 game studio Faraway IP.
The move was seen as part of an effort by the company's team to “de-clutter” the team, which has the ability to execute on its vision, consistent with former CEO Greg Solano's statement.

Man City and Oaks have released shirts linked to rare NFTs
Manchester City Football Club has launched a new NFT collection allowing fans to win limited-edition shirts and matchday experiences.
Manchester City's partnership with crypto exchange OKX allows users to spend NFT on OKX, giving them a chance to win the shirt as NFT rarity.
The jerseys feature hand-painted designs by artist Christian Jeffrey, including the Lancashire Rose and Manchester worker bee.

The former Disney boss has launched the Web3 game publisher at Marvel, Star Wars talent.
A former Disney executive has teamed up with a group of Hollywood and gaming professionals to launch a United Arab Emirates-based Web3 game publisher. The company is called Galactic Entertainment Publishing, which represents the original arm of the Galactic Group.
The company's first project, PlanetQuest, has been in development since 2022. Galactic Entertainment CEO and PlanetQuest founder Lauren Roosendaal collected 200,000 NFT holdings before the game's launch.
